You know I’ve been doing websites and internet marketing for 21 years now and flipping houses with Britton for 11 years.  I still plan to continue both of those ventures to build capital to invest but I’m also starting to venture into apartment investing this year.  Flipping houses and running a marketing company can produce great income, however, they are both just jobs.  The plan for the flipping business is to get it to be more streamlined with systems and produce profit that can be used to invest in apartment buildings.  The website and marketing company is doing great and I plan to continue helping clients look great on the internet.

I have a five year plan to have the freedom to be able to travel and see the world. While traveling I plan on playing music and donating the income to charity. I’ll continue to invest in real estate which is a true passion of mine and will likely do that for the rest of my life.

I’m using the skills I’ve learned in my “jobs” for apartment investing. The reason for this shift is that multi-family is proven to be the best asset class to build wealth that produces truly passive income .

Some of the benefits:

1. Favorable tax treatment through depreciation and expense write off (this is why the wealthy pay virtually no taxes)

2. Monthly income and long term appreciation

3. Cash out refinance opportunities

4. Recession proof since people will always need a place to live
